May 17, 2016 (newstodate): South Korea is deepening its cooperation in aviation with pledges to support the construction of a new passenger terminal at Uzbekistan's Tashkent Airport.
The South Korean state is currently footing the development of a feasibility plan for the project, with a result to be presented by July 2016.
Plans are to build the new terminal over four years, doubling the existing passenger terminal area and achieving the target of handling 1,500 passengers per hour once completed.
South Korea is also to pay for working out of the detailed construction plan by the Korean airport company Yingcheng.
