May 19, 2016 (newstodate): Iran Air is seeing the end of the restrictions on their Airbus A320 aircraft from operating into Europe.
The carrier is negotiating with the EU Commission and expects all limitations on its Airbus A320 fleet to be lifted shortly, which will enable the carrier to expand its European services.
In the fleet of Iran Air are now six A320 that together with the carrier's Boeing 747 and Fokker 100 aircraft have been banned by the EU since 2009 under the earlier sanctions regime.
