May 13, 206 (newstodate): Always having a Nordic fingerprint, Cargolux has named a new Executive Vice President Global Logistics - Danish national Lars Syberg.
Mr Syberg will take on his new responsibility from June 6, 2016, to take charge of the company's ground handling, warehousing and distribution activities.
Bringing in some 30 years of experience from various positions in the logistics industries, Mr Syberg has last served since September 2013 with Zebra A/S, behind the popular and dynamically expanding chain of Tiger shops, as well as holding a seat on the Board of Directors of the Danish company DSV Transport from October 2015.
Reflecting the strategic and financial importance of integrated door-to-door services for the air cargo industry and Cargolux in particular, the company has raised Mr Syberg's position to EVP and Executive Committee level.
