May 23, 2016 (newstodate): The new Estonian carrier Nordica has added a connection between Tallinn and Istanbul - sort of, at least.
Partnering with Nordica, the Slovenian carrier Adria Airways has signed a code-share agreement with Turkish Airlines on the route between Tallinn and Istanbul, served by Turkish Airlines since June 11, 2013, when the carrier launched its triangular route Istanbul-Vilnius-Tallinn-Istanbul.
Later, from October 26, 2014, Turkish Airlines split the triangular service, offering instead three weekly rotations between Istanbul and Tallinn as well as two weekly rotations between Istanbul and Vilnius.
Under the new code-share agreement, Nordica's passengers gain seamless access to Turkish Airlines' onward flights via Istanbul to destination on its global network.
