May 31, 2016 (newstodate): The Danish charter and ACMI carrier Jet Time has named a new CEO - Jorgen Holme, taking up the position from June 1, 2016, but already displayed on the company's website.
Mr Holme bring in rich experience in commercial aviation from year with SAS, Air Greenland, Spanair, and last serving as CEO at the Faero Islands' carrier Atlantic Airways until August 2015, called in to bring back the airline on a firm footing after a troubled period.
Mr Holme will now be responsible for implementing a new reconstruction strategy for Jet Time that has been experiencing a similar turbulent period marked by feverish expansion and weak financial and cost control.
Mr Holme takes up the challenge after Teddy Zebitz who served as Jet Time CEO only since January 11, 2016, as he stepped in to replace Klaus Ren, one of the founders and early investors in Jet Time, as the carrier dipped into dire straits.
