Apr 12, 2016 (newstodate): Ukraine has lost its direct scheduled air connection to Jordan.
With effect from March 27, 2016, Royal Jordanian pulled out from servicing the route between Amman and Kiev, citing "a noticeable regression, affecting the feasibility of the route."
Royal Jordanian opened flights on the route on August 17, 2008, offering two weekly flights between Amman and Kiev, using Embraer 195 aircraft on the route.
The carrier is currently its new five-year business plan focusing on network restructuring - and the low demand led to axing the route.
