Apr 08, 2016 (newstodate): IATA is welcoming a new airline member in Sweden - Nextjet.
The latest newcomer to IATA membership in Europe, Nextjet serves a route network comprising 18 destinations in Sweden, Norway and Finland with a fleet of 14 SAAB 340 and ATP passenger aircraft and a staff of 330 employees.
-Back in 2013, Nextjet saw the great importance of an IOSA certification. It is therefore very satisfying to now become a full IATA member and support IATAs important work for the industry, as well as benefit from the extensive range of services and experience that IATA holds, says Magnus Iversson, Nextjet CEO.
Nextjet is Sweden's largest regional airline, with ABBA's Bjoern Alveaus among its initial investors.
