Apr 04, 2016 (newstodate):; Ryanair is again announcing the opening of a new base - this time in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Starting from October 30, 2016, the carrier's 83rd base will go into operation at Sofia Airport with three Boeing 737-800 aircraft to serve 21 new routes to destinations including Athens, Barcelona, Baden, Berlin, Birmingham, Brussels Charleroi, Castellon Valencia, Cologne, Dublin, Eindhoven, Glasgow, Hamburg, Liverpool, London Stansted, Madrid, Memmingen, Milan Malpensa, Pisa, Rome Ciampino, Stockholm and Venice.
This initial flight program will accrue to 90 weekly rotations in and out of Sofia.
