Apr 18, 2016 (newstodate): Top-runners in implementation of e-AWB in the Nordic/Baltic airfreight industry after the first two months of this year were the three Baltic markets.
Running the fastest was Lithuania where the rate of e-AWB grew by 16.2 percent, followed by Latvia, up 9.2 percent, and Estonia with 9.1 percent.
Developing the least, Iceland dropped 0.4 percent, and in Scandinavia both Denmark and Norway were up only modestly by 0.5 percent and while Sweden managed to grow one percent.
The Finnish market was also in the black, with a growth by 0.4 percent.
However, in February 2016 Iceland scores highest at to the proportion of e-AWB shipments, reaching 68.8 percent, while Norway scraped the bottom with only 18.7 percent of shipments going paperless.
