Apr 21, 2016 (newstodate): Today marks the start of DAT's seasonal service on the route between Billund in western Denmark and Bornholm, in the Baltic Sea.
The route will be served thrice weekly with ATR-72 aircraft until October 2, 2016 - with hopes for its prolongation into a year-round service from this winter schedule.
The seasonal route was first opened in 2015 as the outcome from an internet campaign calling for public rating of most wanted new air routes by DAT, which placed Billund-Bornholm on top of the list.
