Volumes handled at the airport were down 6.9 percent, y-o-y, to 2,538 tonnes during January-March 2016, but after a steep decline by 23.4 percent in January, volumes were up by 8.5 percent in March indicating signs of recovery.
Of the Q1 totals in 2016, 1,402 tonnes were imports, down 13.2, while exports, 727 tonnes, were up 9.8 percent.
