Mar 18, 2016 (newstodate): Northern Jet, a part of Northern Aviation Group, has entered into an agreement with Backbone Aviation and Global Reach Aviation regarding a 50-seats Bombardier CRJ200 jet aircraft, to be based at Odense airport, on the Funen island.
Northern Jet will market the aircraft primarily to the business communities at Funen Island,
Plans are also to introduce scheduled services starting from summer 2016, and Northern Jet is already talking to communities, industries and organizations in the region to shortlist the potential destinations most sought-after.
Among the coming new destinations already being studied are Oslo, Gothenburg, as well as destinations in the UK and Iceland.
Based at Esbjerg Airport, the taxi and charter flights company Backbone Aviation operates two CRJ200 aircraft, owned by Global Reach Aviation and formerly operated by now-defunct carrier Cimber.
