Mar 17, 2016 (newstodate): The Nordic charter carrier TUIfly will be a new customer at Croatia's Split Airport this summer.
The carrier will be performing a weekly rotation on the route between Helsinki and Split during the period May 6 to October 17, 2016, on a contract with the Finnish tour operator Finnmatkat.
TUIfly will operate a Boeing 737-800 aircraft on the route, replacing the flights, earlier announced, by the Danish charter carrier Jet Time earlier offering the smaller Boeing 737-700 aircraft.
The flights to Split will mark TUIfly's first operation into Croatia.
With HQs in Stockholm, TUIfly Nordic with 11 aircraft is part of TUI Airlines and operates charter flights from Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway for tour operators Fritidsresor, Finnmatkat and Star Tour.
