Mar 07, 2016 (newstodate): From plans to reality: The Iranian carrier Mahan Air has now officially put Copenhagen on its destinations map.
Opened for bookings on the internet now, the route between Tehran and Copenhagen will be served twice weekly with Airbus A310 aircraft, with the first rotation on June 9, 2016..
Talking to newstodate, Mahan Air earlier said the airline would start services from Tehran to Stockholm from June 2, 2016, and to Copenhagen from June 6, 2016.
No details on the planned flights between Tehran and Stockholm are yet available.
Competitor to Mahan Air on the planned Stockholm flights is the state-owned carrier Iran Air already on-line on the route with two weekly rotations.
