MAr 14, 2016 (newstodate): The new Finnish carrier under formation, Go! Aviation has run into certain snags delaying its launch of services.
Plans were to start flights on the routes between Kuopio and Helsinki as well as between Helsinki and Tallinn, Estonia already this month, but the start has now been postponed.
-We have to wait until the first week of April to launch our services, and this is due to some service-related issues beyond our control, says Jorma Kario, Go! Aviation CEO.
-We actually already have two Pilatus PC-12 aircraft in our fleet, one of them already on Finnish registry and the other to join shortly. So once the issues have been cleared up, we will be ready to start flights, Mr Kario says.
After this, a network will be built including routes from Finland to Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, Holland and other European markets.
In Sweden Go! Aiation plans to offer flights to Stockholm Bromma and Malmoe Airport, in Denmark destinations will be Roskilde Airport and Odense HCA Airport, while flights to Norway will come further down the road, probably to be launched in 2017.
