Plans for opening up also flights between Tehran and Stockholm, Sweden, are still on the table while the launch date has still not been settled.
According to industry sources, the US authorities are still putting pressure on European countries to bar flights by Mahan that is said to be, or have been, involved in illegal flights to support the government of Syria.
