Mar 17, 2016 (newstodate): The Iranian carrier Kish Air is to build its fleet of Airbus aircraft.
The carrier took delivery of one Airbus A320 aircraft on March 16, 2016, and a second will follow within a week.
Kish Air has also acquired two new Airbus 321 aircraft and placed orders for a further eight aircraft.
In the fleet of Kish Air now are also three Fokker 100 and seven MD 82/83 aircraft.
Kish Air was set up on December 16, 1989 and started operations in 1989, owned by Kish Free Zone Organization, Kish Investment and Development, and Kish Development and Servicing.
