Mar 07, 2016 (newstodate): The Finnish regional carrier Air100 is back in the air, so far offering flights on two domestic routes.
Air100 is a virtual carrier that earlier relied on flights provided by the now defunct Czech carrier Central Connect Airlines.
As the Czech contractor folded its wings in June 2014, Air100 was grounded as well.
Now it is back in the air with the Estonian carrier Airest as its provider, offering flights on routes from Helsinki to Pori and to Kittila.
The routes are served with Airest SAAB 340 aircraft of which eight are currently in the airline's fleet.
On August 31, 2015 Airest launched a new brand name, FLYEST that has been the carrier operating the route between Helsinki and Pori since December 2015.
