Mar 09, 2016 (newstodate): BRA, earlier Braathens Regional Airlines, is performing its last flights for SAS in April 2016 and will then switch over to cooperation with Finnair in the Swedish market.
BRA will be connecting a total of 12 destinations in Sweden with Finnair's flights at Stockholm's city airport at Bromma, allowing the Finnish carrier to deepen its penetration of Sweden's market for Asian flights in competition to SAS' offerings.
Today, Finnair's destination in Sweden are Stockholm Arlanda, Gothenburg and Visby, at Gotland.
The new cooperation between BRA and Finnair will take effect by mid-May 2016.
Since February 29, 2016, all airlines earlier trading under the names of Malmo Aviation, Blekingeflyg, Flysmaland, Golden Air, Gotlandsflyg, Kalmarflyg, Kullaflyg and Sundsvallsflyg are branded as BRA.
