Mar 11, 2016 (newstodate): Coming off to a good start in growing cargo volumes in January 2016, Lithuania's Vilnius Airport continued the positive development in February as well.
A total of 692 tonnes of cargo and mail was handled at the airport, an increase by 17.77 percent, y-o-y.
In January-February 2016, the airport has thus seen cargo volumes up by 11.14 percent, to a total of 1,329 tonnes.
In the neighboring Latvian market, Riga Airport also saw volumes up by 11.3 percent, y-o-y, to 3,120 tonnes, while Tallinn Airport, in Estonia, recorded a drop in volumes by 16.3 percent to 1,416 tonnes during the first two months of this year.
