Feb 22, 2016 (newstodate): In 2015, the Top-two forwarders together held over 40 percent of the Swedish IATA export market - but both were down in volumes, compared to 2014.
#1 was DHL Global Forwarding was down 16.74 percent, y-o-y, to 20,576 tonnes during January-December 2015, followed by Geodis with 19,113 tonnes but also slightly down by 1.32 percent.
These two companies accounted for 21.35 and 19.83 percent of the market, respectively.
Rising the most in 2015 was #7 DSV with 4,l074 tonnes and up 14.19 percent, y-o-y, while dipping the most was #10 Airlog, down 19.17 percent, to 1,924 tonnes.
The total IATA exporet market in Sweden dropped 5.39 percent, y-o-y, to 96,381 tonnes during 2015, according to CASS statistics.
