Feb 26, 2016 (newstodate): Telling only part of the story of Sweden's current air cargo trends, the latest CASS statistics however saw the total export cargo sales by IATA carriers in Sweden down by 19.2 percent, y-o-y, to 6,155 tonnes in January 2016.
Only one carrier managed to show positive growth - #6 on the top-10 list, Qatar Airways that increased by 2.1 percent to 414 tonnes.
At the top was SAS Cargo with 838 tonnes, but down 31.79 percent, y-o-y, followed by Lufthansa Cargo with 568 tonnes, also down 26.82 percent.
#3 was KLM Cargo with 541 tonnes, down 35.73 percent, followed by Finnair Cargo with 533 tonnes and down 6.7 percent.
Emirates came 5th with 480 tonnes, down 18.06 percent, Thai Cargo was #7 with 398 tonnes, down 13.79 percent, #8 was BA with 330 tonnes, down 20.26 percent, followed by Korean Air Lines with 294 tonnes and down 26.47 percent, while Cargolux closed the list at the bottom with 239 tonnes, a drop by 13.12 percent, y-o-y.
