Feb 12, 2016 (newstodate): The volume of flights connecting Russia and Iran is to be increased through a revised bilateral air services agreement.
Under the new conditions, the volume of weekly rotations may go up to 28, allowing each side to designate an unlimited number of carriers operating any type or size of aircraft.
Flights to Russia by Iranian carriers may be launched from Tehran, Mashhad, Isfahan, Rasht and three more unspecified cities, while Russian carriers may operate flights to Iran from Moscow, St Petersburg, Astrakhan, Kazan, Ufa, Sochi and one more yet-unspecified city.
