Feb 24, 2016 (newstodate): The Gulf carrier Qatar Airways is again boosting its services to Romania.
Starting from June 2, 2016, the carrier will offer 10 weekly rotations between Doha and Bucharest Henri Coanda Airport, going further up to 14 weekly flights, or two daily rotations, from August 1, 2016.
Qatar Airways took its first steps into the Eastern European region with five weekly flights to Bucharest introduced to its network in January 17, 2011, increasing to seven rotations from October 1, 2014.
The flights to Bucharest were first linked to Budapest, later to Sofia, but Bucharest became an independent destination on Qatar Airways' route network from September 14, 2011.
