Feb 25, 2016 (newstodate): Latvia's Riga Airport will see more of Uzbekistan Airways from the start of the coming summer schedule.
Taking effect from March 31, 2016, the carrier will add a second weekly rotation on the route from Tashkent via Riga to New York, operated as a once-weekly flight since October 31, 2004, with Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.
Besides the use of Riga Airport as a transit point on both directions on the route to New York, Uzbekistan Airways also operates a weekly rotation on the route between Tashkent and Riga, launched on October 31, 2014.
All flights between Tashkent and Riga are operated in a code-share agreement with Latvia's airBaltic.
