Feb 01, 2016 (newstodate): As part of its ongoing plans for the expansion and modernization of its European aircraft fleet, Finnair has again placed orders for Airbus A321 aircraft.
Finnair has excercised an option, under the LoI signed with BOC Aviation on December 30, 2015, to lease a further two new Airbus A321-200 aircraft.
The lease agreements have a minimum term of eight years, and the aircraft are scheduled for delivery to Finnair during the winter season 2017/2018.
Under the earlier LoI, Finnair agreed to take lease of four similar aircraft, also for an eight-year period, with deliveries during H1, 2017.
