Feb 03, 2016 (newstodate): The new Estonian company Nordic Aviation Group has announced plans for new routes from spring 2016.
Starting from March 27 and 29, 2016, respectively, the carrier will offer flights from Tallinn to Vienna and Berlin with four weekly rotations an a year-round basis.
During the summer season, the airline will operate once-daily flights to Paris on three weekdays, also starting from March 27, 2016, and seasonal flights to Nice and Split will be in the schedule as well.
The current network operated by Nordic Aviation includes eight destinations including Amsterdam, Brussels, Kiev, Munich, Oslo, Stockholm, Trondheim and Vilnius.
With the new destinations included, Nordic Aviation will thus be offering 13 direct flights from Tallinn in the summer 2016 schedule.
The company has dry-leased one Bombardier CRJ-700 from the US company Regional One, and a second aircraft will join the fleet by February 2016, to be operated with Estonian cockpit and cabin crews.
The aircraft will serve Nordic Aviation while operating on the AOC of Adria Airways pending the granting of Nordic Aviation Group's own AOC, expected by mid-2016.
Nordic Aviation performed its first flight on November 8, 2015, with aircraft operated by Adria Airways in cooperation with BMI, Trade Air, NextJet and Carpatair.
