Feb 02, 2016 (newstodate): The year 2016 did not start with growth figures in cargo volumes through Denmark's Billund Airport - but the performance wasn't that bad either....
The total volumes were down 5.3 percent, y-o-y, to 5,033 tonnes including 1,705 tonnes of imports, down 2.2 percent, and 3,328 tonnes of exports that dropped 6.8 percent.
In January 2015, the airport's volumes actually increased by 8.5 percent, boosted by an increase in exports by 14.8 percent, y-o-y, making that year's January cargo volumes the largest ever recorded at Billund Airport, with January 2016 trailing only slightly behind.
