Dec 13, 2016 (newstodate): Lithuania's Vilnius Airport shows a healthy growth in air cargo volumes through 2016.
During the first 11 months of 2016 the airport has handled a total of 8,113 tonnes of cargo which is an increase by 10.23 percent, y-o-y.
In November 2016 alone, cargo volumes were however only modestly up by 4.39 percent, to 800 tonnes, after five consecutive months of two-digit growth percentages.
Operating for DHL, EAT accounted for 58.76 percent of the total volumes during January-November 2016, while Lufthansa stood at 10.91 percent and airBaltic at 6.65 percent.
