No less than 503 charter flights from European destinations and 401 domestic flights in Finland are heading towards Rovaniemi and Kittila, the traditional Santa Claus home turfs.
Behind the European charters are tour operators in the UK, Germany and Switzerland.
While still an impressive traffic, the volume in 2016 is more or less on the same level as in the preceding years.
