New in 2016 was the launch of flights by Mahan Air from Mashdad to Delhi from November 4, 2016, with one weekly rotations, and in the news for 2016 was also the launch from June 9, 2016 by Mahan Air of flights on the new route from Tehran to Copenhagen, Denmark, offering two weekly rotations with Airbus A340 aircraft.
Starting from February 4, 2017, the carrier will launch flights on a new route from Tehran to Baku, in Azerbaijan, with three weekly rotations from the start.
As the first airline in Iran, Mahan Air, will introduce online check-in for passengers departing from 11 Iranian airport including Kerman, Ahwaz, Zahedan, Queshm, Sari, Shiraz, Ilam, Bam, Sirjan, Kermanshah and Khorram.
