Dec 19, 2016 (newstodate): The Hungarian LCC Wizz Air will add a third route at Copenhagen Airport in Autumn 2017.
Starting from August 26, 2016, the carrier will be offering three weekly rotations on a new route between Kiev, in Ukraine, and Copenhagen, Denmark, with Airbus A320 aircraft based at Kiev.
Wizz Air is already at Copenhagen Airport with two routes - flights to Copenhagen from Skopje, in Macedonia, were launched on March 22, 2016, followed by flights from Sofia to Copenhagen starting from June 13, 2016.
In Denmark, Wizz Air is also present at Billund Airport since June 19, 2015, and is now offering flights on five routes with a 6th destination, Warsaw, to be added by late March 2017.
