A program will thus be launched in 2017 for training of new ATC personnel to operate at the larger Transatlantic airport as well as the smaller airports and helipads.
In the first hand, the program will aim at upgrading the professional levels of local flight-information service officers eligible for the program, and the training will be provided by Isavia, operator of Iceland's airports.
