Dec 01, 2016 (newstodate): November 2016 proved another month of growth in cargo volumes through Denmark's Billund Airport.
A total of 6,139 tonnes of cargo was handled, which was an increase by 15.7 percent, y-o-y.
Exports were strongly up by a healthy 25.5 percent, to 4,213 tonnes, while import volumes dropped slightly against last year by 1.2 percent to 1,926 tonnes.
The airport is thus heading towards a new record in 2016 as the January-November volumes were up 4.3 percent, y-o-y, to 60,590 tonnes including 39,409 tonnes of exports, up 3.1 percent and 21,181 tonnes of imports that were also up 6.4 percent, y-o-y.
