Nov 21, 2016 (newstodate): Thailand's LCC AirAsia X is mulling plans for opening a spree of new routes from Thailand to several capitals in Central and Eastern Europe.
In the pipeline may be flights on routers from Bangkok to European destinations including Budapest, Prague and Warsaw.
In the fleet of AirAsia X are six Airbus A330-300, and the launch of the new European flights may be slated for summer 2017, already.
Member of the AirAsia Group, AirAsia X is already operating charter flights to to China, Oman, Japan, South Korea and Iran, but is seeing a window of opportunities opened in Central and East Europe where flights to Thailand are most often via en-route transit stops.
