Nov 11, 2016 (newstodate): Already the 2nd largest carrier at Helsinki Airport in terms of flight operations, the LCC Norwegian is again to add new routes from Finland.
Starting from April 20, 2017, Norwegian will introduce flights from Helsinki to Amsterdam offering two weekly rotations, and from June 22, 2017, flights will start on another route from Helsinki to Kosovo's Pristina Airport, offering one weekly rotation.
Both new routes will be o9perated with Norwegian's Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
In April 2010, Norwegian started operating flights to Helsinki from Stockholm and Oslo, bolstering its presence in the market by setting up an operational base at Helsinki Airport from spring 2011, allocating three Boeing 737-800 aircraft to Helsinki opening 11 new international and two domestic routes for a start.
