Nov 14, 2016 (newstodate): The volumes of Indian travelers to all corners of the world now also includes a steep increase in the number of Indian visitors to Georgia.
The Indian Minister of Civil Aviation is visiting Tbilisi and an MoU has been signed between India and Georgia to pave the road for establishing direct scheduled flights between the two countries.
Driving the process will be the fact that the number of Indian visitors to Georgia has increase by no less than 232 percent, y-o-y, during January-October 2016, reaching 27,790 visitors, and similarly Georgia's turnover from the trade with India has increased by 27 percent, y-o-y, so far into 2016.
