Nov 14, 2016 (newstodate): Austrian Airlines is planning for a return of service to Gothenburg, in Sweden.
Plans are to start up with two weekly flights between Vienna and Gothenburg from June 2017, the company says.
Austrian earlier served on the route to Gothenburg, but pulled out from the Summer 2012 schedule as part of efforts to cut costs through an austere savings program, while streamlining its route network with a focus on Eastern Europe.
Austrian will return to Gothenburg with three weekly rotations on the route served with E195 aircraft.
