Nov 24, 2016 (newstodate): As planned, Finnair will close 2016 with a fleet of seven Airbus A350 aircraft, with the last delivery this year on September 29.
In 2017, the fleet of Airbus A350 aircraft will grow to 11 aircraft.
Finnair's aircraft #8, currently undergoing final assembly, is now slated for delivery in March 2017, and #9 that is currently having its fuselage assembled, will follow by May.
Aircraft #10 will enter final assembly line in early January 2017 while the 11th and last A350 for Finnair is still just bits and parts on their way to Toulouse prior to assembly later in 2017.
Finnair has placed orders for a total of 19 A350-900 aircraft.
