Nov 17, 2016 (newstodate): The state-owned Estonian carrier Nordica is making big plans for next year's operations.
The carrier will thus launch flights from Tallinn on a new route to Hamburg in the spring of 2017, and flights will be introduced to Brussels, Stockholm, Vienna and Oslo as well as third weekly flight to Odessa during the summer season.
Nordica will also increase its flight schedule between Tallinn and Warsaw in cooperation with new strategic partner LOT Polish Airlines - a cooperation that lifts off with effect from November 19, 2016, replacing the earlier cooperation with the Slovenian carrier Adria Airways that was instrumental in getting Nordica in the air from November 8, 2015.
In the fleet of Nordica are now two CRJ700 and four CRJ900 aircraft, and two more will be added in 2017.
Earlier this month, the Polish carrier LOT acquired 49 percent of the stake in Regional Jet, a Nordica subsidiary and capacity provider to Nordica with own AOC.
