Nov 01, 2016 (newstodate): The Danish leisure carrier Primera Air is to open new flights from Copenhagen Airport.
As part of strategic development, Primera Air significantly expands its offerings from Copenhagen airport as of summer season 2017 and increases frequencies to already exciting routes as well as opening new routes.
Flights will thus be performed on six routes to Spanish leisure destinations, and to one Portuguese and one Turkish destination, in all cases as scheduled services sold directly to customers.
In 2016, Primera Air operates to over 70 destinations with a fleet of eight Boeing 737-800 aircraft, and plans are ready for adding a further two aircraft in 2017 to meet growing demand in the markets.
Of the eight aircraft, three to four are operated out of the carrier's single largest market in Denmark, two out of Sweden, one in Finland and one in Iceland, while one aircraft is placed on the ACMI market.
