Oct 04, 2016 (newstodate): While the Croatian seaplane operator, European Coastal Airlines has again suspended operations, the Danish company Nordic Seaplanes is still operating its flights as planned.
Starting in early May 2016, the Danish company is operating a DHC6 Twin Otter on the AOC of the Croatian company, and this recently forced the carrier to suspend operations for a week in August between Denmark's two largest cities, Copenhagen and Aarhus, as the Croatian authorities cast doubts over ECA's air safety organization.
On October 3, 2016, European Coastal Airlines however announced that is has immediately paused operations for the time being to withhold further arbitrariness from administrative sources until the operational environment is trustworthy.
-ECA therefore has suspended all domestic and international seaplane flights until further notice, the company says in a release.
This time, the operations by the Danish seaplane operator however continue unaffected as the AOC by the Croatian partner in not questioned.
