Oct 05, 2016 (newstodate): The Polish carrier LOT is to open the first direct flight from Eastern and Central Europe to Los Angeles.
With the first flight in early April, 2017, LOT Polish Airlines will launch its new nonstop service between Los Angeles and Warsaw, offering four weekly rotations using Boeing 787 aircraft.
The new route will offer shorter flying times and a two-hour transfer stop to destinations such as Prague, Budapest, Vilnius or even London or Stockholm, as well as great connectivity to major Polish cities, such Wroclaw, Poznan, Rzeszow or Katowice.
Los Angeles will be the eighth long-haul connection in LOT's network and its fifth destination in North America.
