Oct 03, 2016 (newstodate): The Latvian carrier airBaltic has unveiled part of its plans for new routes from next summer's schedule, starting from March 26, 2017.
The carrier will launch flights from Riga Airport to six new destinations including Geneva, Aberdeen, Stavanger, Gothenburg, Tampere and Catania, while new flights will also be opened from Vilnius, in Lithuania, to Paris and Munich.
In the fleet now are 12 Boeing 737 and 12 Bombardier Q400 aircraft, but airBaltic will take delivery of its first of 20 Bombardier CS300 aircraft in November 2016, adding a second before the end of this year.
The CS300 delivery scheme for 2017 has still not been announced.
