Oct 11, 2016 (newstodate): The Latvian carrier airBaltic will need a significant expansion of its flight crews with the delivery of 20 CS300 aircraft, the first of which will be delivered in November 2016.
The carrier has thus launched a massive campaign to recruit around 1,000 professionals over the next five years, to support the carrier's growth under the Horizon2021 business plan.
Starting from October 13, airBaltic will thus run a series of "Open Door" events for its future cabin crew, with potential cabin crew candidates invited to just turn without prior application, carrying only their CV and personal ID document.
On today's payroll at airBaltic are now some 1,100 employees.
