Oct 12, 2016 (newstodate): September's statistics on air cargo through Estonia's Tallinn Airport did little to change the picture of negative growth in 2016.
A total of 1,105 tonnes of cargo was handled at Tallinn, a decline by 33.1 percent, y-o-y.
During the first nine months of 2016 the airport was thus seeing its cargo throughput down by 15.1 percent to 9,504 tonnes.
On the brighter side, the export volumes did rise 49.9 percent in January-September 2016, to a total of 2,851 tonnes, but imports were down 33.4 percent to 5,344 tonnes during the period.
