Oct 28, 2016 (newstodate): Cargo volumes on Russian carriers increased by 8.3 percent, y-o-y, during the first nine months of this year.
A total of 679,275 tonnes of cargo was carried, 79.7 percent of which was lifted by the country's top-5 operators, aggregating a total of 645,002 tonnes.
Heading the Top-5 league was, as always, ABC with 362,974 tonnes, up 1.1 percent, followed by Aeroflot with 118,867 tonnes and up 23.6 percent, S7 Sibir with 25,330 tonnes and up 12.5 percent, Volga-Dnepr with 21,207 tonnes and down 14.3 percent, and UTAir with 17,623 tonnes and up 47.4 percent, y-o-y.
