Jan 27, 2016 (newstodate): Uzbekistan's Tashkent Airport is planning for construction of a new international passenger terminal.
So far, a South Korean consortium led by the airport management company Incheon has developed a feasibility study for the project and will continue to work on the implementation of a master plan for the management of the airport.
Uzbekistan expects the new terminal, to be funded partly by external, primarily Korean investors, to be commissioned by 2018 with the capacity of handling 1.5 thousand passengers per hour.
