Jan 11, 2016 (newstodate): Uzbekistan Airways has performed a rather unique charter operation to Fairbanks, Alaska.
The carrier landed a charter contract with the Japanese travel company InterAvation to fly Japanese passengers from Osaka, Tokyo and Nagoya, respectively, to Fairbanks, with the operation lifting a total of 540 passengers.
The operation, the first of its kind for Uzbekistan Airways, was performed with a Boeing 757 aircraft.
