Jan 14, 2016 (newstodate): Turkish Airlines is to strengthen its offerings in the Nordic market from the coming summer schedule.
The carrier is to increase frequencies between Istanbul and Oslo from 18 to 19 weekly rotations, the same is to happen on the route between Istanbul and Helsinki in Finland, and in Sweden Turkish Airlines is to increase daily flights from three to four, including a new flight from Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen to Stockholm.
In Denmark, Turkish Airlines will cease triangular flights between Istanbul and the two Danish airports of Billund and Aalborg, offering instead five weekly rotations on direct routes to these two airports.
Starting from May 30, 2016, Turkish Airlines will also launch a new flight to Copenhagen, Denmark, from Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport in addition to the existing three daily flights from Istanbul Ataturk Airport, bringing the total number of daily rotations to four between Istanbul and Copenhagen.
